Teacher biographies

Michael L. Sproles, Owner/President

Michael received his Bachelor of Music in Vocal Performance and church music with a piano minor from Carson-Newman University. He won a number of vocal competitions including being a finalist in the district and regional Met auditions and N.A.T.S. vocal competition while in school. He traveled with the Dayton Detroit Opera as well as sang with the Knoxville and Indianapolis operas including Lucia, Don Giovanni, Die Fledermaus, Pirates of Penzance. The Ballad of Baby Doe and many others. His vocal professors include Dr. Thomas Teague, Mrs. Micolopulis and a Summer with the great James King. He was in full-time music ministry as a music pastor for 26 years in churches from 250 to over 3000 members. He produced and directed many full scale pageants and special programs including the living Christmas tree. He is currently the Minister of Music at Calvary Baptist in Sedalia, Missouri.

While in high school and college he had leading roles in musicals like Oklahoma, Pippin, Once Upon a Mattress, Guys and Dolls and Annie Get Your Gun. He loves educating singers and all musicians willing to put the work in to achieving fantastic music.

Tom Ray, Junior Partner

Tom graduated from University of Central Missouri (formerly Central Missouri State University) in Warrensburg, Missouri with a Bachelor of Music with emphasis in guitar. 

Kaitlyn Schach, Instructor

Kaitlyn is a graduate of Sam Houston State University with a Bachelor of Music in Education. She has been teaching voice and piano privately for over two years and joined the Noteworthy Conservatory faculty in August 2021.

Kaitlyn developed a love for choral singing from a young age and has performed at the competitive level with secondary and collegiate choirs throughout her musical career. She competed with top choirs at the university, participated in the 2018 Academia Vocale Lorenzo Malfatti Vocal Training program in Italy, performed with the SHSU Opera, and completed five years of private collegiate vocal study. Kaitlyn participated in various competitions including TMEA All-State auditions, National Association of Teachers of Singing, and SHSU's Annual Art Song competition. Her love of teaching began in high school with her experience in the TMEA All-State choirs and the guidance of her immensely supportive choral instructors. She is currently a certified teacher in the State of Missouri and believes that every student deserves an education that is tailored to fit their needs and personal goals. She is passionate about working with students of all ages who are committed to learning and making beautiful music.

During her spare time, Kaitlyn enjoys painting, thrifting, trying local restaurants, relaxing at home with her cat, Leo, and spending quality time with friends and family.
